The history of our hotel in Neustift began with a dream and a great deal of love for scenic Stubaital valley.
Erika and Sepp Müller laid the foundation in 1969 by building a single-family house
with five rooms for rent. In the years that followed it grew steadily.

In 1976/77, the building was converted into Café Erika with five additional rooms. The place quickly became a popular meeting place for both locals and guests. This success led to further developments: another five rooms were added in 1980 and 1984, while the first wellness area including a sauna and a small relaxation room was created in 1990. 1990 marked a true turning point: the Café became a full hotel business which continued to develop. In 1993, the family extended the dining room to accommodate more guests for serving culinary treats. A comprehensive modernization of several guest rooms and bathrooms followed between 2001 and 2003. Perhaps the most significant moment of this era came in 2006, when Matthias and Barbara Müller took over the helm with a breath of fresh air and new ideas, leading homey ERIKA into the second generation - ready to enrich their parents' legacy with their own vision.

Under Matthias’ and Barbara's management, lovely ERIKA experienced a true heyday. In 2009, a major renovation took place, adding six new rooms to a pioneering low-energy building - complemented by winter garden, terrace, outdoor pool and lovingly designed garden. The following years were marked by continuous improvements: several rooms and bathrooms were renovated in 2014, followed by the buffet area in 2019 and the exterior facade in 2021. The year of 2023 saw the comprehensive modernization of the reception, ski cellar, swimming pool and six rooms. In 2024, Theresa's participation in the business marked a new and exciting chapter that is still in its making. Join us, because all our hotel guests in Neustift are also part of the story.
