History of ERIKA, the Ski Hotel in Neustift

 

  • In 1969, a detached house with 5 bedrooms is built for rental.
  • In 1975/76, the house is converted into a cafe. 5 bedrooms are added.
  • In 1980, a further 5 rooms are added
  • In 1984, a further 5 rooms are added
  • In 1990, the Vitality area with sauna and small quiet area is built
  • In 1993, the dining area is extended
  • In 2001 – 2003, numerous bedrooms are refurbished and the bathrooms renovated
  • In 2006, the premises transfer ownership to Matthias and Barbara Müller
  • In 2009, large-scale renovations and expansions take place, with 6 rooms established in a low-energy building, as well as a winter garden, terrace, outdoor pool, and garden in our ERIKA, the Hotel in Neustift and Ski Hotel in the Stubai valley.
  • In 2014, individual bedromms and bathrooms are renovated.

We feel very strongly about preserving our environment and using clean energy, which is why here at our hotel in Neustift we heat the entire house using wood chips from the farmer next door and use solar energy for the water treatment.
